Maria Gonzalez

Director of Supply Chain

Maria Gonzalez

Maria is a native of Placentia, California, and after receiving her degree in Business Administration, she was hired by Sunrise Growers in the customer service department. With her strong analytical mind and drive to go above & beyond, she rotated through and excelled at a variety of operations roles and was promoted to Supply Chain Manager. Today, Maria is Sunrise Growers’ Director of Supply Chain and her role touches four key areas including planning, sourcing, production, and customer service & delivery. Each day she leads a team and works with the plant managers, field operations, packaging & materials, logistics and customer service from all of our locations to ensure seamless coordination among these groups and ensure that the right products go to the right customer on time. Her deep operational know-how and customer-centric approach have resulted in excellent service levels, high customer satisfaction and a highly efficient, low cost supply chain. 

Andrew Kramer

Director of Global Field Operations

Andrew Kramer

Andrew earned a Master’s degree in International Agriculture Development from UC Davis before serving in the Peace Corps in Ecuador for 5 years. He is a respected leader within the grower community and brings a successful track record of implementing agricultural best practices and award-winning food safety programs. In his current role as Sunrise Growers’ Director of Field Operations, he continues to build strong and lasting partnerships with leading farmers on a global basis and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. His knowledge and hands-on experience have enabled him to effect positive change and create measurable results at the farm level that help drive our business ahead. He’s enjoyed expanding our business, developing long term relationships with leading growers and providing detailed planning and analysis. This helps us to ensure a safe and reliable fruit supply and execute a carefully planned growth strategy to support our customers’ increasing demand for our products.

Anuroop Reddy

Sales Planning Manager

Anuroop Reddy

Anuroop was born in India and raised in the United Kingdom. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Technology, he landed a Senior Accountant position with Sunrise Growers in California where he was exposed to many different areas throughout the organization. Anuroop’s strong performance was quickly recognized and today, Anuroop is Sunrise Growers’ Sales Planning Manager. In this role, he supports the sales team, performs cost and sales analysis, and helps drive business growth through rigorous analysis and a disciplined approach. He enjoys using his analytic skills to find opportunities to reduce delivered costs for our customers and uncover new efficiencies.

Melissa Messerli

National Account Manager

Melissa Messerli

A native of McPherson, Kansas, Melissa brings two decades of food service industry experience to her role as National Account Manager. In her 15 years with the company, Melissa has worked in nearly all areas of our organization including customer service, procurement, marketing, product development, and sales. This significant operational exposure continues to serve her extremely well in her current position.

As National Account Manager, Melissa works directly with many of our largest retail customers to oversee the creation and development of new products and blends. As part of the process, she manages artwork creation, packaging design and pricing strategies for both conventional and organic frozen fruit product creations.

Melissa loves working directly with customers to develop close and lasting relationships. She also enjoys problem solving and values the opportunity to develop innovative and exciting new fruit products. For her, bringing new product creations to market generates a great sense of accomplishment. In fact, she considers them her children – and that makes her one proud mom.
